What I Do For My ClientsI like to ask business owners, "Do you run your business or does your business run you? Are you getting out of it what you really wanted?", and then help them move their business forward to the point that it really works for them. Managers ask me how to use coaching to develop their people, or how to get off the manager's treadmill of pushing and struggling and remain in management. I help them develop the skills and approaches to make those goals happen. Teams approach me to help them make difficult decisions or changes together, tackle complicated strategy and planning work, or to align their personal styles and objectives with larger business goals. Under it all, they just want to enjoy their teams, get a lot done, be in sync and be appreciated. Coaching makes a big contribution to making that vision real for teams. In broader terms, helping my clients get these business results is the top layer of what I do for them. Underneath, our coaching helps them clarify or discover what they really, really want, lets them see that it is attainable (I call this expanding possibility), and helps them become more of themselves - stronger versions of themselves - on the road to their goal. Though the coaching focus or specialty will vary, for most professional coaches this is the real mission. This is the heart of the distinction between coaching and consulting, training, managing and any of the other cousins to coaching. See what some of my clients have done with coaching

Company ProfileAs an independent coach, I team with other professional coaches with appropriate specialties when clients need the support of several coaches on a project. I also team with trainers and consultants at times to design or implement total solution packages. My clients are primarily in North America, though I also coach internationally from time to time. Most private and group coaching contact is by telephone, a format that works extremely well for many people. I travel to client sites for workshops, group events like strategy sessions and team building, and occasional on-site coaching. Associations
