Private Coaching

Choosing group coaching:

Group coaching is a wonderful format for getting a lot done and growing in the process, in the company of others who are on the same trail.

Most coaching groups are small - six to nine people. There is a great deal of mutual support, inspiration, brainstorming and peer coaching that happens in a coaching group, in addition to the coaching from the coach-leader.  In a private coaching format you have more time to spend on your specific circumstances and objectives; however many find that group coaching can be just as effective for them and also find the relationships within the group to be rewarding and sometimes long-lasting. Group coaching is particularly affordable - usually half the cost, or less, of private coaching.

Comparing and integrating private coaching:

Sometimes a group coaching member can use a private session or two for some extra focus to get them over a hurdle. These occasional private sessions for group members are available at a lower rate than standard private coaching rates. Group coaching also includes, at no extra charge, occasional brief support by email or telephone between group coaching sessions.

Full private coaching clients are able to participate in some coaching groups at no extra charge, depending on availability, and of course may also join any other coaching group (based on availability) to supplement their private coaching.

You may achieve the same goals with group or private coaching. Depending on your personality and circumstances, you may achieve them faster or with more enjoyment in one setting or the other. You may want to discuss this decision with a coach, or try out both formats for the best fit.
