"Guerrilla
Marketers have two-way brains. A one-way brain takes in a lot of knowledge.
A two-way brain takes in the knowledge and puts it to work."

Smart small business marketing:
Guerrilla Marketing is a
popular approach to small businesses promotion. The underlying philosophy is
based on shunning the traditional big-business marketing approach (spending a
lot of money, expecting that somewhere it will pay off). Instead, Guerrilla
Marketing calls for using energy, focus and imagination to get a high pay-off
for a small, smart marketing investment.
In the early ‘80's, the first of many Guerrilla Marketing books popularized the
marketing approach based on "achieving conventional goals, such as profits and
joy, with unconventional methods, such as investing energy instead of money".
That is the definition by author Jay Conrad Levinson, who now serves on the
Microsoft Small Business council and the 3Com Small Business Advisory board. His
Guerrilla Marketing books are required reading in MBA programs around the world.
